Clean Up Day!
In October 2008 CCPP were asked to participate in a clean up day on one of the islands off the coast of Sihanoukville. The project was part of a bigger education program for the locals of the community on the effects of dumping rubbish in and around the ocean and its effects on their pristine waters and abundant aquatic life. As diving is one of the many draw cards bringing tourists to the area it is important for the kids to also learn their part in keeping their environment eco-friendly. They also had a great time doing it in-between swimming and playing!
