Our Goals

We are developing CCPP into a fully functioning children’s art and education centre. The aim is to have a more significant role in providing the children with necessary life skills on an ongoing basis and this is achieved through closely monitoring their progress at school and beyond the CCPP program.

Help us with our Dream!

We are proposing to build a new centre, not only to continue our current work, but also to expand our services with a focus on child protection, education and art school training. This necessary expansion will enable us to service more children and broaden our facilities, ensuring every child has the opportunity if they wish to continue their education by learning a trade and be educated at no cost.

We envisage the school to include classes in ceramics, painting, silk screen printing and traditional theatre and dance, as well as a music studio to allow the children an opportunity to explore their creative sides. We hope that one day we can expand this to incorporate an actual arts co-operative including a gallery, a shop and perhaps an opportunity for them to run their own export arts business.

Facilities we would like to include are:

• Art Studio & Gallery
• Classrooms for English & Computer classes
• Medical & counseling clinic
• Library and music room
• Sports field & playground

But we need your help to keep this dream afloat… We have found the land, drawn up the plans and have started our search for the very best educators but our limited budget means we can’t move forward without financial help. We are estimating we need approximately $80,000 US to get this project off the ground. This estimate includes:

• Land rental for 3 years (estimated $25,000)
• Building supplies & labour (estimated $30,000)
• Equipping the new facilities (estimated $10,000)
• English/Computing/Trade School & work Shop Teachers ($120 salary per month)
• Additional Social Worker  ($140 salary per month)
