Sponsor A Child

Sponsor-A-Child

Here at CCPP our program is a little bit different than most. We find it almost impossible to distinguish which child is more deserving than another when it comes to the benefits provided by finding an individual sponsor for the children. The approach we have decided on is a centralised fund that allows any money donated to benefit all the children, making them all feel equally valued. For more information please scroll down to our faqs section.

I would love to sponsor the children of the CCPP family!

Thats what we hoped you would say! Your sponsorship donation helps us provide our kids with a protective, nurturing, environment and the possibility of a brighter future. Your funding enables us to keep helping those in need and we look forward to keeping you up to date with what we have been achieving!

How is the money spent?

Having a centralised fund also allows us the discretion of being able to help individual children and their family’s specific needs, whether that be a provision of a weekly rice allowance, a bicycle to encourage school attendance, or even providing basic shelter to provide a roof over the families heads. You see when you sponsor a CCPP child you are sponsoring them all, and we will of course keep you up to date with how your money have been appropriated within the CCPP family network.

The collective fund also allows us to provide necessities such as education, food, and shelter to all children attending CCPP.

The exception?

Here at CCPP we manage existing one on one sponsorships of children for external english school education, by this we primarily manage the money to go directly to the institution of choice. Most of these individual sponsorships have been organised between the sponsor and child’s family whilst the sponsor has been on holidays here in Sihanoukville. We manage these sponsorships to avoid the sponsor paying too much and so we can monitor the child’s attendance.

How long do you need my assistance?

We hope you will want to be apart of CCPPs support network for a long time to come. It is our promise to all our children that we will support them with an education so eventually they will be able to support themselves and their families. You are welcome to support the CCPP children for as short or as long a time as you wish.

How can I correspond with the children? Can I receive updates?

CCPP are more than happy to provide you with monthly updates via our newsletter as to what’s going on, including photos of the kids and our activities.

How do I know my money is going where you say its going?

Our completely transparent accounting and financial records are available at any time upon request. At CCPP only Khmers salaries are paid, all volunteers and Western management are not.
