I feel incredibly lucky to have found CCPP during my travels. From the moment I showed up, I was struck at the beauty and happiness of all the children here, despite some of the harsh realities of their environment. CCPP is truly an amazing program, giving these kids a safe place and opportunity to nurture the fun and free spirit of childhood. I will be forever thankful for my chance to stop, and everyday hear the best sound in the world, the laughter of a child, as I throw the young ones up in the air, or just goof around with the older ones. As time went by, and I stayed on longer than I signed up for (who can leave), I became more aware of the amazing actions taken by CCPP to ensure the welfare of the kids not just while they are at the center, but at their homes as well. The efforts of the Khmer social workers are perhaps the most virtuous aspect of CCPP. All in all, it has been an unforgettable 6 weeks, and I hope more and more people will hear about this program, to raise awareness, funds, and draw more volunteers in to have as moving of an experience as I have.

I spent only a short time of 3 weeks here at CCPP and had so much fun every day. The friendships I have made with the children and the staff I have met, it’s just invaluable. It was nice to see how closely CCPP works with the children and their families to improve their lives. It has become even more clear to me how important and necessary programs like this are. I will never forget these memories I have experienced, the kids touched my heart and i will never ever forget them.
I feel so lucky to have been involved in such an amazing project. Thank you so much! I wish all the best to the kids, volunteers and organizers!

Jeeez… where to start! It’s been an amazing few weeks, I just wish I could stay longer. I’ve met so many great people during my time here and made some true friends. The staff at CCPP are phenomenal, dedicating their time and effort into injecting a little bit of happiness into the lives of these kids. As they say in their mission statement, CCPP is “a place where kids can be kids” and it’s as simple as that. And the kids… wowza they are truly what make CCPP so special. They are a daily inspiration both in their focus and determination to succeed and also with their unending optimism and spirit that refuses to be quelled regardless of circumstances. If you’re looking for a place to volunteer then look no further, come to CCPP! You definitely won’t regret it 

Oh my, where to even start?! My month here has been beyond amazing, and I only wish I could stay longer. The children, the staff, the other volunteers, all of them have made this experience life-altering, and my heart will truly stay in Cambodia and with CCPP. The children are full of such joy and eagerness to learn; they are so smart, and so amazing, I will truly think of them every day for the rest of my life. The teachers and staff at CCPP are such good-hearted people, genuinely trying to make a positive impact on the world. They have inspired me beyond belief and I wish them the best in life, my thoughts will be with them. I have met the most amazing people on this journey, who I will hold dear in my heart forever. I have had the pleasure, and the honour, of working with some of the most talented, kind-hearted and awe-inspiring people, from all ages and cultures, and I feel so grateful to have been given this oppurtunity. I am so sad to be leaving, but whilst my body may be elsewhere my thoughts and my heart will remain here forever. To anybody even considering this journey, I beg you to take it, and I promise you won’t regret it.

Until next time CCPP, keep up the amazing work, I’ll be back……..Lots of love,

I can’t believe that my time at CCPP has come to an end already. I can honestly say that I have had the best month of my life here, and I have experienced memories that I will never forget. These children have touched my heart, and I will genuinely remember them for the rest of my life. If you’re even considering taking part in this project – do it! I can promise you that you won’t regret it. You will be apart of something incredible, and come into contact with the most amazing children. During my time here I have been lucky enough to witness the children using computers AND a projector for the first time. Seeing their faces light up whilst watching slide shows about Picasso, and teaching them how to use a mouse is enough to make anyone have tears in their eyes. One month is not long enough, and I am so sad to be leaving the staff, volunteers and of course the children. Sihanoukville honestly began to feel like home.

Until next time CCPP… Thank you for everything. I will never forget you! All my love,

Words don’t really do CCPP justice. I have loved every moment of my time here. I have been amazed by the loving nature and determination of the kids here. They are truly inspirational. Watching them learn and laugh has been a blessing. My month here has been made even more extrodinary due to the wonderful people I have worked with. The other Volunteers have become true friends and we share an experience like no other. This place wouldn’t be possible without the wonderful staff who work hard everyday to make life better for these kids. I have so much admiration for their dedication and heart. I only wish that my time here could be longer. I will miss the kids beautiful smiles and playful attitude. This experience exceeded all my expectations. It is an honour to be part of such an amazing and beneficial project.

Thank you so much for everything CCPP. I will never forget my time here. Much Love

This is a place for all volunteers to leave their thoughts! Share your experience and what this project means to you!!! I will start by saying , I have never met such a great group of children and feel blessed to be a part of  CCPP! They are not only creative and talented, but respectful and appreciative. They have made their way into my heart. I have extended my stay for a year and half…helping to raise funds so these children always have a place to come for education, safety, and happiness. Please consider volunteering with us….you will never forget this experience and it will change your life for the better!!! Much Love xxxx  Michele Martin

You can never truly depict how much these beautiful children appreciate and love our support. I spent only a short time of 3 weeks here at CCPP and have loved every minute. The friendships I have made with the children, and the support I was able to give them has demonstrated how closely CCPP works with the children and their families to improve their lives. From my time spent in Sihanouk Ville it has become even more clear how important and necessary the program is to the community, and how much of a difference it is making as it continues to expand. The  social support for the children, provided by the volunteers is invaluable, and they really are so grateful.  I feel so lucky to have been involved in such an amazing program, and cannot wait to come back in the future.  Thank you so much! All my love to the CCPP kids, volunteers and organisers! Best luck in the future xxx Lucy Carmichael

My CCPP experience is a blessing, I cherish every moment spent with these wonderful talented children, who lead such tough lives. Their safety is our number one concern, and we try to improve it as much as we can by providing a safe environment were they can play, express their creativity, recieve food and medical care. I am so grateful to be part of  this wonderful organisation and only wish I could extend my stay. I will keep in my heart all the amazing experiences shared with the children, the volunteers and the staff. I wish them all the best for the projects they undertake, and hope to be back to see an even greater CCPP and all the beautiful smiles on the childrens faces…

I am working for 6 weeks in CCPP and it is wonderful to get experience here at this NGO. I work together with lovely people and can bring in my own ideas to progress CCPP. I do not find any words to describe my feelings when I see the kids smiling, but it gives me something back I am very proud. I know that my help is needed and moreover appreciated. Since I am here I feel very well and CCPP is my home. There are different tasks: Working in the gallery, selling paintings, take care for children, organizing any projects, run theaters, teach English classes and finally give eduction in painting. So the work is variety and it makes it fun. Sandy is a powerful leader of the project and I am happy to see that under her lead it runs. Definately I come back and I can recommend to everybody who is looking to work in an NGO. Please help to run the project and you will make unforgetable experience with in CCPP. Looking forward to see you soon.
